bravettes trial new strip for 2012

the bemboka bravettes ladies team has completed a succesful off season and has begun to trial a new light weight and breathable uniform for the 2012 season. although the strip has yet to be approved by fifa the girls will continue to train in the state of the art lycra.

after a tough off season and plenty of well earned rest the braves are back in training(well a couple of them). the season will kick off on the 3rd of april with the braves title defence to comence.the braves will field 2 under 7's teams an 8's, 9's, 12's reserve grade and the 2010 premiers first grade, the braves have a new addition to the family this yr with the announcement of the bravettes ladies team to take the park in the 2011 season.
the braves have 99% of there squad returning along with new signings of trent stafford(the talented one), matty collins making the trip from the act to rejoin his childhood club and heaps more which will featur ein the coming wks. the braves first grade will be slipping on a new strip this yr(if it turns up in time) with ian gowing builder coming onboard along with the bemboka pieshop to continue there great support of the club. braves park is slowly coming to life after 3 foot of grass took over in the off season and was recently turned into an olympic swimming pool it shall be in fine condition come game day.

braves premiers for 2010!!!!

braves head to decider

bemboka braves will head to the decider tomoz at merimbula v wolumla, braves will look to secure a victory after defeating the tigers at wol 2-0 in there major semi final 2 wks ago.will be a tough match though with the braves inability to find the back of the net throughout the home and away season! braves will head into the final with the same line up as the major final but will be boosted with miko(tazzy devil)o'reilly returning to the team after suffering some broken ribs in a dubious tackle from youngest brother maz at training 3 wks ago,beno should also be back at full strength after a fetlock injury has plagued him all yr.
the braves will be well protected at the back with ian gowing returning to the middle to talk shit to anyone within earshot, ando has been solid this yr and is slowly gettin used to playing concussed and semi conscious!
the braves midfield will be held by the regular pairing of gorden(chef ramsey)stafford and chilli(kung pow chicken)arratia, up front will see adam(ill play 9 gf's on the 1 w end)blacka and jake(why use ya right foot when the left one's better)menke try to defile the tigers defence and get the braves over the line!!
the braves will kick off at 2.20 and will look to secure there maiden first grade premiership since the club formed in 1301 b.c.

The bemboka under 11s lost today against merimbula white 6-1 witch ended ther undefeated streak.And in the ressies bemboka lost to pambula 2-1. And first garde won 1-0 aganst pambula.

the braves travelled to sunny wolumla this w end to compete in the inaugural 7 aside comp.after a shaky start and slightly unorganised team the braves played most games 1 short due to only having 1 lady.ang played very well and was only givin 48mins notice sat morning b4 the first game,the braves picked up another ladie on the second day and jane guided the braves to the finals(in between playing 38 other games!) gowzer kept a clean sheet over both days even 2 shots from maz at his own goal were stopped.
the braves overcome the deserae devils 2-0 in the semi and played a bunch of young blokes i've never seen b4 in the final,the braves also won the final 2-0 in the pooring rain.the braves adding the first bit of silverware to the trophy cabnet this yr.

there will also be a rego day next sun 28th feb 5pm at brave park!

a few of the braves have kept there fitness and the braves respectful reputation in tact playing 6aside at tathra,braves are currently undefeated and starting to play some good football.
