Braves Goalkeeper for the past 2 years and everybody's mate until State of Origin time. Matty has come alive over the last few weeks in the Braves 18 yard area, becoming much more vocal and confident due to a little persuasion from the little Itialian. Matty Ellwood is Glory Boy's slave in at the NAB.
A long suffering Chelsea supporter (or newly on the bandwagon?), Matty is a top lad, good fun and always up for a piss take laugh. He is also in charge of a highly successful U17 junior AFL team in Merimbula, who he has taken from the wooden spoon to the bottom of the table .

Matty does not take his goalkicks due to an injury he sustained in Vietnam, but being a tight short footy player he can kick the round ball very well out of his hands.
Currently one of the most eligible Brave batchelors for all the pretty girls who check the Braves website regularly.
