Russ 'The Muss' Hill

Club stalwart, Russ Hill

Russ is almost as old as Indian's Head, the logo for the Braves. He's been in Bemboka for quite a few years now, has featured in many roles for the club, has a great family over in Bemboka (add Braves) St, and has son Adam playing with him in Ressie's which he is obviously enjoying. Russ is tough in the tackle and a gentleman on and off the field, respected by all the younger Braves (that would be everyone in the squad).
At 67, Muss is the oldest Brave ever, and looks to have plenty of years left in his legs. Has been one of the best in Ressie's so far this year, and following a knee injury at Merimbula which he aggravated at training Tuesday night, will be sorely missed.
Look forward to his support from the side in the coming weeks- looks like a strong candidate for Ressie's managerial duties in the dugout in the coming weeks. Speedy recovery mate- we'll miss your smiling face at training :)

You can still catch him in action every Friday night at Indoor bowls..
